Day
01: Arrive PARO
On
arrival at the airport you will be received by Snow White representative.
After completion of airport formalities, you will drive through fascinating
valley of Paro to the hotel. Afternoon visit Taa Dzong, the National Museum (which in the past served as watch tower
in order to Paro Rinpung Dzong and the valley), which has a collection
of antique Thangka, textiles, weapons, armour, house holds objects and
a rich assortment of natural and historic artifacts. Visit Rinpung
Dzong the heap of Jewels built in 1646 by Shabdrung Ngawang
Namgyal has a fascination history. Evening visit to Paro market and take a
walk through the main street. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Paro.

Day
02: PARO - THIMPHU
Morning visit
Taktsang temple. The walk uphill will be not more than two
hours. The trail is broad. At the view point there is a
cafeteria. Have a cup a tea or some juice here and then take a
walk little higher to the closer view point of Taktsang. Then
walk back for lunch in Paro town
.
Afternoon Drukgyel
Dzong, built in 1647 by the Shabdrung to protect from the invasion of
Tibetans.
Kyichu
Lhakhang one of the 108 temples in the Himalayas built by Tibetan King,
Songtsen Gompo in the 7th century. It reflects the introduction of Buddhism
in Bhutan.
After
that drive to Thimphu, the capital town of Bhutan on the way lies Simtokha
Dzong (Simtokha means the place of profound tantric teaching) this dzong
now houses a school for the study of the Dzongkha language. On arrival
in Thimphu, check into the hotel. A brisk walk in evening in town before
dinner.

Day
03: THIMPHU PARO
Morning
sightseeing of Thimphu valley includes;
National
Library; it holds a vast collection of ancient Buddhist texts, manuscripts,
modern academic books and printing blocks for prayer flags.
Traditional
Medicine Institute: where centuries old healing arts such as acupuncture
and herbal remedies are still practiced.
Painting
School: teaches the art of Buddhist Thangkhas, and the mask maker workshop.
Tashichho dzong:
"fortress of the glorious dharma". It is the center of government
and religion, site of King's Throne room and also seat of Je Khenpo
or Chief Abbot. Built in 1641 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyel the political
and religious unifier of Bhutan. Later reconstructed in 1961 in traditional
Bhutanese manner, without nails or architectural plans.

Memorial
Chorten: constructed in memory of late His Majesty the third king of
Bhutan.Finally
visit Handicrafts Emporium and local shops if interested to buy fine
Bhutanese traditional arts like textiles, thangkha paintings, masks,
ceramics, slate and woodcarvings, jewellery, and all manner of unique
objects. Evening drive to Paro. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in
Paro.
Day
04: PARO depart
After
early breakfast in the hotel, drive to the airport for flight to onward
destination.
