CHILD FARE:
A child passenger is one who has not reached his/her 12th
birthday on the date of commencement of travel and will be
charged 67% of the applicable adult fare. Children of 12 years
of age and over will pay the full applicable adult fare.
INFANT FARE: An infant is one
who has not reached his/her 2nd birthday and who is not
occupying an individual seat. He/she will be charged 10% of the
adult applicable fare.
EXTRA CHARGES/FEES
Passenger Service Fee (PSF)
: As per the order of the Airport Authority of India, all
embarking passengers out of India will be charged PSF of US
Dollar 6.00 or equivalent currency per embarking passengers, for
all Ngultrum and US dollar fares without any exception to any
kind of passengers with effect from April 2001.
Insurance Surcharge (YQ):
Charge US dollar 5.00 or equivalent per segment. YQ will apply
to all passengers regardless of class of travel and type of
fare. YQ also apply to all free and discounted tickets.
Fuel Surcharge (YR):
Charge US dollar 10.00 or equivalent per segment. YR will apply
to all passengers regardless of class of travel and type of
fare. YR also apply to all free and discounted tickets.
Service Tax on
business class
All business class passengers embarking from India are subject
to an additional 12.24% Service Tax on the fare. The tax will be
collected at the time of issuance of ticket. If mistakenly
omitted, the airline check-in personnel will collect the tax.
The above is as per the directives issued by the Service Tax
Directorate, Government of India.
Cancellation Policy

Rebate of 100% for the
tickets cancelled
more than 45 days prior to arrival date in Bhutan
-
Rebate of 70% for the
tickets cancelled within 30-45 days prior to arrival date in
Bhutan.
-
Rebate of 30% for the
tickets cancelled within 29 - 10 days prior to arrival date
in Bhutan.
-
There will be NO REFUND for
the tickets cancelled less than 10 days prior to arrival
date in Bhutan.

An administration fee of $25 per ticket will be applicable
for all canceled tickets
-
Passengers who fail to show up for a flight will not be
eligible for a refund

Lost tickets are nonrefundable
Baggage
All
visitors are required to complete the customs form upon arrival at Paro.
The following items are exempted from customs duty:

liters of alcohol, 200
pieces of cigarettes; 150gms of pipe tobacco

apparatus or appliances for professional use

equipment, video cameras and other electronic goods

The ticket reservation for the druk air shall be done by us and the
tickets can be collected from the Station Manager
or the Druk Air
counter from the boarding station. Further
if we have some time left we also post the tickets to our clients
for their convenience.
